Genertec provides inspection, testing, and certification services for customers in the machine tools, robots, textiles, and other industries.

Genertec's subsidiary, Chinatesta Textile Testing & Certification Services (CTTC), was established by Genertec CTA in 2004. As a comprehensive technical service provider with a capacity for services covering standardization, inspection, testing, metrology and certification, CTTC is able to provide comprehensive and end-to-end solutions for textile and apparel companies. Its main services include research into, formulation, and revision of textile standards, inspection, testing and certification of textile products and other types of light industry products, research and development (R&D) and operation of experimental consumables, as well as instrument calibration.

CTTC runs many testing service platforms authorized by national and provincial authorities and serves as the secretariat of multiple industry technology platforms, such as national textile standardization technical committee (TC209) and the basic standards subcommittee of the national textile standardization technical committee (TC209/SC1).

Founded in early 1982, Genertec's national machine tool quality supervision and inspection center is the first state-authorized national inspection agency with third-party impartiality in China's machine tool industry. It has acquired a good number of national and industry-level qualifications, including "public service platform for high-end CNC machine tool industry technology foundations" and "industrial (machine tool) product quality control and technical evaluation lab" from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), "national testing and evaluation agency for sci-tech achievements" from China's Ministry of Science and Technology, and inspection and testing agency for machine tools and robots and certification agency for mechanical equipment and components from China's Certification and Accreditation Administration.

Over the years, the achievements of the center have been recognized with a substantial number of national, provincial and ministry-level awards, including two State Scientific and Technological Progress Awards (Second Prize) and 18 provincial and ministry-level scientific and technological progress awards, with seven of the 18 awards being first prizes.
